Why join KABA? As a member of KABA, you will be part of a close-knit community of colleagues and have the opportunity to engage with the greater Korean and legal community through participation in various professional, educational and community events and activities. KABA members collectively represent a wide range of backgrounds and practice areas, including private practice (including large, midsize and small/boutique firms), solo practice, public interest (including nonprofit, government, judiciary, legal aid and public sector firms), law students and academia. KABA is an affiliate of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), and KABA members are eligible to receive discounted rates for NAPABA membership and other member-only benefits.
Annual membership dues help to fund all KABA programs including the Mentorship Program and Scholarship Program for law students, the Pro Bono Clnic, KABA member events (including social and professional networking events), CLEs (or other training and career-related workshops) and community volunteer and outreach efforts.

Public sector attorneys*: $35
Law students: FREE
Hardship exemption**: FREE
*Public sector attorneys include government attorneys, judges prosecutors, public defenders, assistant attorney general, legal services attorneys, and attorneys for non-prot groups which qualify as 501(C)(3) organizations.
**KABA is offering a hardship exemption for attorneys who are currently unemployed.
