WWL Annual Event

WWL Annual Event will be taking place Friday, October 14 at the Grand Hyatt.  Registration for the event is still open at www.wwl.org, but ends Monday.

The speaker is Sarah Weddington, who argued Roe v. Wade to the U.S. Supreme Court at the age of 26 (and is thought to be the youngest person to have won a Supreme Court case).  She went on to serve as a legislator, educator, and adviser to President Carter on judicial appointments (including the appointment of now-Justice Ginsberg to the federal bench).
