The Korean American Bar Association of Washington (KABA) is excited to announce the upcoming 2015 KABA Annual Legal Seminar, scheduled to be held on October 11, 2015 at the Ramada Inn Tukwila. We are asking you to consider sponsoring this event.
Our Legal Seminar is an event that brings together Koreans foreign nationals and Korean Americans to educate the Korean community about the legal system, and to reduce common and sometimes preventable legal mistakes. Our priority, indeed the reason for our existence as a professional organization, is to help our community and this is one way we are doing so while also giving back to the community.
The Legal Seminar was a great success last year with more than 100 attendees. We had speakers on topics ranging from family law, business law, immigration law to business and real estate law. Many participants, including small business owners from all over Washington, had the opportunity to learn foundational information regarding the Washington legal system and its laws. The success of last year’s Seminar was due in part to the financial contributions of our sponsors.
We are looking for local businesses and organizations to help us make this year’s Legal Seminar another successful event for our community. We are seeking contributions of $500 – $1,000 to go directly to various fees and expenses associated with this event. In appreciation for your contribution, we will feature your name and logo in our promotional and program materials, make a special mention of your support on the day of and after the event in our newsletter, and have a table set up for you at the seminar at your request. If you have any ideas or suggestions that you would like to discuss, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact me at (206) 892-2160 or jessica [dot] yu [at] stokeslaw [dot] com.
