Staff Attorney at State of Washington Department of Health

The State of Washington’s Department of Health, Health Systems Quality Assurance Division (HSQA), is seeking qualified attorneys to fill four new staff attorney positions (Hearings Examiner 3) with its Legal Services Office based in Tumwater, WA. Staff attorneys in HSQA work collaboratively with HSQA investigators and Assistant Attorneys General to prosecute health care provider and facility licensing cases.

KABA Social Event

KABA has organized an opportunity for new attorneys to meet with former KABA member attorneys, some of whom helped to start KABA more than 15 years ago.  One such member, Sang Chae, graciously agreed to provide a venue for this meeting. KCBA Book of Business Seminar for Attorneys of Color

The King County Bar Association will be hosting a fall edition of its popular “Building A Book of Business” seminar on Wednesday night, October 20, at Riddell Williams.  This is a closed door session for recently admitted minority attorneys to meet with leading attorneys in our area to learn how to market themselves and acquire new clients.  Presenters include Dan Gandara, Richard Mitchell, and Tisha Pagalilauan, with Russ Aoki moderating.  This program is provided at no cost, but is limited to fifteen new attorneys.  Priority is given to KCBA members.
